Wear a mask every time you leave your home!

25 Mar 2020

As we lock ourselves up, we still need to go to the shop or get some essential work done, which may involve entering someone else's home. This is allowed, as this article says, yet social distancing is not enough to prevent contamination.

As stated by the WHO, the virus spreads via droplets from the mucus of infected people; whether they show symptoms or not- and it stays active on surfaces for hours, see www.who.int/news-room/q-a-detail/q-a-coronaviruses.

Therefore, we recommend wearing a mask in all cases, as this will prevent not only the person wearing it from spreading their germs, it will also stop them from touching their mouth and nose while out and about, hence possible infection by touch.

Stay safe!
